They danced silently

I had to share these, last month and for the last few years we have had only one or two snowdrops. Finally though, they have been joined by more and it is almost a crowd!

Close to the sod
   There can be seen
A thought of God
   In white and green.

Simple pleasures

Fragments from "Auguries of Innocence" by W. Blake

To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternity in an hour.

Joy of nature found on my walk today - a respite from the melancholy of the news. Although written over 200 years ago Blake's words are still a mirror of the hearts of men.
Man was made for Joy and Woe;
And when this we rightly know
Thro’ the World we safely go.

Every Night and every Morn
Some to Misery are Born.
Every Morn and every Night
Some are Born to sweet delight.
Some are Born to sweet delight,
Some are Born to Endless Night.
